Here are some photos from Iceland.

Driving out of town, over the icy tundra of Pingvellir park, volcanoes in the distance. This was near the first gathering place (aka government) of Iceland, as well as the extension of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the Eurasian and North American plates meet.

Gulfoss waterfall, a bit icy. This is the namesake of some not very great beer.

There is a park in a suburb south of Reykjavik where it is said that the secret people (elves) inhabit. Here is a not-so-secret person there looking out for them.
